Competition Time!
Our Create a Comic Competition is back for 2026, and this year there’s over £340 worth of books up for grabs!
Just like previous years, we’re inviting young creators to design their own comic strip. Whether it’s funny, action-packed, or full of twists, we want to see your best ideas brought to life. One standout entry will be crowned our winner.
What's the prize?
The winning entry will receive:
- 4 books from our brand new superhero series The Squad (worth £27.96)
- A graphic novel collection (worth £64.00)
- An extra £250 worth of books, carefully selected by our in-house librarians

The deadline is the 29th May 2026, and please include the child’s first name, age, and an email address for a responsible adult (parent, teacher, librarian, etc.) we can contact if they win.
Eligibility:
- Open to children aged 12 and under
- Entries must be submitted by a parent, teacher, or responsible adult
- Open to UK residents only
Entries that do not meet these requirements cannot be considered.
