Our Family
Come and meet the BookLife Family! From booksellers to publishers, our family is at the heart of children's books and publishing. From super-secret ninjas to engaging non-fiction, we love books!
Our core brand BookLife provides educational books for schools. With over 50 years of experience working in the education sector, we here at BookLife aim to bring knowledge, passion and enthusiasm to children’s literature. We work with publishers across the globe, including our own to ensure we offer books that children actually want to read. Our simple philosophy is to select engaging, imaginative and informative books that will inspire curious young minds and engender a lifelong love of reading.
BookLife Publishing is our publishing, makes creates educational books for children - many of which can be bought on our site. BookLife Publishing was formed over a decade ago by the BookLife teamed, as they saw a lack of high-quality non-fiction books available in the UK market, so to solve it we began to make our own. Since then, BookLife Publishing has published an innovative mixture of original and engaging fiction and non-fiction books for children. We have even created our fully decodable reading scheme which can be seen in our BookLife Readers. The goal for BookLife Publishing has always been to create truly original and engaging content, enlivened by innovative and striking graphic design. It is this creative synergy that inspires each and every one of the books we produce and, most importantly, engages curious, young readers to want to make sense of the world in which they live.
The Secret Book Company is a former imprint at BookLife Publishing that could be seen across many paperbacks.
What goes on at SBC HQ – a classified location somewhere in the UK – is top secret. While working on their strictly secret assignment, Operation Publication, our book ninjas have been getting to grips with everything from invisibility cloaks and tractor beams to surviving a nuclear war. From planets to pigs, our writers and designers have seen it all and are ready to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of book ninjas.
