The BookLife Bookfest is back, this time for the summer holidays! After a successful Bookfest in October of last year, we're opening our doors to the public once again and offering hundreds of children's books for bargain prices, at just £1 per book. The Summer Bookfest is one day only on Tuesday, 25th August 2026 from 10am-3pm.

We've Moved Location Since the Last Bookfest

The Summer Bookfest is an in-person event, and you'll find us at Unit 2 Hansa Court, Lubeck Road, North Lynn Industrial Estate, King's Lynn, PE30 2HN. Please note that we have moved location since the last Bookfest. You'll find our current location on the map below.

Useful Information

BookLife Bookfests are events where children's books are available to purchase at clearance prices. Children's books are available from many of the top publishers for just £1, including our in-house publishers, BookLife Publishing.

Yes, the Summer Bookfest takes place at our site and is not an online event.

The Summer Bookfest is taking place at our site. You'll find us at Unit 2 Hansa Court, Lubeck Road, King's Lynn, PE30 2HN; just look out for the big BookLife Publishing sign. We've moved locations since the last Bookfest, so make sure you turn up at the right place!

We have very limited on-site parking with 11 spots, so we recommend walking or taking public transport to get to us. We're only a few-minute walk away from the bus stops on Edward Bennefer Way, Bergen Way and Reid Way.

We do share a car park with our neighbours, so if you do drive, we request that you be considerate to our neighbours and park in spots at the side and back of our building that are marked for BookLife Publishing.

If our car park is full, we request you park on Bergen Way and not on the road adjacent to us, as it's frequently used by lorries.

Yes, every book available during the Summer Bookfest will cost no more than £1 per book.

We'll have a large selection of children's books on offer, from fiction, non-fiction, picture books, Hi-Lo, graphic novels, mystery boxes and much more. A lot of the stock on offer on the day is limited and first come, first served.

We don't have any additional Bookfests planned. However, if we did do another, it would be communicated on this website and our social media pages. We do also have a Bookfest mailing list where you can receive info about potential future Bookfests straight to your inbox.

Our last Bookfest was quite busy, especially just after we first opened, with some queues to purchase books. Our location is smaller than last time, so we kindly ask for some patience. If we get really busy, we may ask people who are waiting to enter to disperse a bit, as our main entrance is located in a car park which can also get busy during the day. There are some benches and shade near our site.

Of course you can; they're the best at choosing books! We just want to highlight that we are located on an industrial estate, which can get busy with lorries and may be unsafe for children if they are not supervised.

Yes, we offer disabled access through our front door, which has a ramp. Some of our hallways are tight, so we'll do our best to accommodate disabled persons. If any help is required, please ask a member of our staff.

Yes, we have mixed-gender toilets with cubicles that will be accessible in the Bookfest zone.

We do have a disabled toilet on site; however, it is not accessible in the Bookfest zone. Please ask a member of staff if you need the disabled toilets.

We can take both cash and card payments from all major credit companies. However, we are unable to take card payments on purchases under £5.
